You can filter the recon result data by the latest comment entered. Different from a general text filtering, it is based on key word search. This article explains some of these details.
Using the filter
You can use the filter for the latest comment in the same way as for other columns, by clicking on the column header, which will then show you the options.
Choose "Contains" or "Does not contain", and then enter the search terms, and click "Apply".
For example:
- Search for all records with the latest comment mentioning "broker": Select "Contains", enter "broker" as the term, click Apply.
- Search for all records with the latest comment mentioning either "broker" or "morgan": Select "Contains", enter "broker" and "morgan" as the terms, click Apply.
- Search for all records with the latest comment NOT mentioning "broker": Select "Does not contain", enter "broker" as the term, click Apply.
The "Does not contain" option will also return items with no comment.
And a reminder that it only filters by the latest comment added to each item. It may be entered by a user, or added through a workflow rule.
Some more details
Full, meaningful words only
It's full words only, and case insensitive. So for example:
- "bro" won't return anything with "broker"
- "broker" will return "Broker", "BROKER", etc..
To focus on meaningful words, the most usual English words are ignored in the filtering e.g. "the", "about", "on", etc..
Spaces are important
We use spaces to determine "words". This unfortunately is not compatible with some languages such as Chinese and Japanese (which are ideographic).
Min and max term length
It's minimum 3 characters (most words with 1 or 2 characters are ignored anyways), and maximum 84 (please let us know if you have used a word longer than that a comment).
Need to enable Exception workflow
The feature is designed to improve how exception investigations are done on Duco. So this feature only works for processes where Exception workflow is enabled.
