This rule simply ignores the given characters when comparing values
Consider this example:
It is evident that the buyer and seller names do not contain dots (.) in abbreviations like "Ltd." and "Corp." in Data set 1, whereas they do contain such characters in Data set 2.
An Ignore characters rule can overcome this problem. If you attach an ignore characters rule to the Buyer and Seller fields, Duco will ignore the "." characters from the values in these fields when comparing them for matching.
