This rule instructs Duco to ignore a field when calculating the match score. This is useful, for example, if you want to ignore a field for matching purposes, but still report it in the match results.
Consider this example:
Let's assume that in Data set 1 the "Trader" field contains the trader name, whereas in Data set 2 it contains an employee ID.
Let's also assume that we can successfully match the trades without comparing the trader fields. But we still want to have the trader field listed in the results.
We can do this using an ignore rule.
*An Ignore rule can be useful when setting up a process. It is sometimes useful to temporarily ignore a few fields to correctly establish rules for other fields.
