A small number of our customers have experienced issues with process runs after making configuration changes on the input data prep processes, even after updating the downstream reconciliation with the steps outlined in this article.
Possible symptoms include:
- Process taking a long time to run and getting stuck, despite no increase to submitted volume
- Run failure with a generic error message
Despite being a rare occurrence, that could happen if the changes inadvertently affected the indexing of the fields on the backend, causing problems for the matching engine. If you've reviewed the source data and match fields and there are no other visible areas of concern, you could try the workaround below to trigger a resync.
Recommendation
- Go to your data prep process. Under Settings > Map and transform, add a temporary field.
- In the downstream reconciliation process, you will have validation errors on the Settings > Data Inputs page and a prompt with a hyperlink. To sync the data prep changes to the recon, select "Click here to update your data input fields".
- Return to the data prep process and delete the previously added temporary field.
- Repeat step 2 to resync the processes.
- Rerun the reconciliation.
If the above does not resolve your issue, please feel free to reach out to Duco Support for assistance through the channels described here.
