Yes, simply go to Settings > Map and transform > click into the output field you wish to delete and click on the red ‘Delete’ button at the top. The following message will be displayed, giving you the option to confirm the deletion of the field or cancel the action:
This may then return a second message asking what you would like to do with your Pending data. You can choose to either discard pending data, or capture it in a snapshot:
Please note that clicking on ‘Create snapshot’ will generate a new snapshot that captures all the data that was uploaded and was Pending. If your Data Prep process is automated (i.e. it relies on SFTP data feeds and new snapshots are automatically routed to the two sided reconciliation) then this might bring your submissions out of sync. If this happens, you can correct it by following the steps outlined under ‘Scenario #2’ of the FAQ item titled ‘What do I do if my Data Prep submissions get out of sync?’
Also note that the corresponding two-sided reconciliation will also need to be updated. If you find that your two-sided reconciliation is invalidated, simply go to Settings > Data Inputs > click on the here hyperlink to confirm that you are happy with the changes that were made on the Data Prep process:
