Duplicate records appear when:
- You are using record tracking
- The tracking key does not identify records uniquely
For some processes, you may struggle to identify a good combination of fields that can be used as record tracking key (e.g. limited data from counterparty). As a result, there are many items identified as duplicates in Duco after each run, that may in fact be individual items that need to be reconciled and investigated.
You can mark these items as not duplicates. They will then be included in the run and become exceptions. They will be carried-over to next run if remain unresolved, and will not be treated as duplicates again in subsequent runs if new records matching the same tracking keys are submitted.
