You can change your password from the Account details screen.
-
From the Dashboard, click on your name and then choose Account details from the drop-down.
This will take you to the following screen
- Enter the current password, your new password, and your new password again to confirm you have typed it correctly.
- Passwords have to be at least 8 characters in length and contain a mixture of upper-case and lower-case letters as well as numbers.
***In new instances of Duco, we now require a 15 character minimum. For existing clients, the requirement is still 8 characters. The maximum length for a password is 128 characters.
- Please note that you cannot re-use the same password as one used the previous six times.

Enforcing users to renew their passwords regularly
Some organisations have stringent user management policy that requires users to update their Duco passwords regularly (e.g. every 3 months). In addition to integrating your identity management system with Duco through single-sign-on (SSO) to have your password policy managed centrally, an expiration period can also be configured.
The expiration period is set in a number of months. Every time a user resets his/her password, it will expire automatically after the specified period. The next time he/she logs in to Duco, it will prompt him/her to set a new password. So together with this enhancement, you can also specify how many old passwords are not allowed to be reused.
