The August release brings new colours in AIDP, more flexibility in reconciliation workflows, easier keyboard navigation in cash processes, and the first step in modernising our platform's look and feel.
Ingestion
A more unified experience across AIDP and Duco
As part of our work to bring AIDP and the rest of the Duco platform closer together, AIDP now uses the same colour palette as the rest of Duco. Status indicators, warnings and actions look and feel consistent wherever you're working.
More flexible entity relationships in AIDP with group entities
We've overhauled how group entities are drawn and managed when training AIDP models on complex documents. Groups now render noticeably faster, and you can ungroup or remove individual entities without redoing your work, making it quicker and easier to validate your documents.

Group entity extraction support in data prep
We've fixed how data prep handles documents where information is nested across multiple levels (for example, a statement with several accounts, each with several currency balances).
Instead of splitting parent and child data into disconnected records, each record now carries all the relevant information from its parent group, so hierarchical data extracts cleanly and is ready to use straightaway.
Aggregation in data prep is now available for everyone
Aggregation - a powerful new transformation step in data prep that lets you collapse multiple records into a single summarised row - was first announced in May 2026 and is now generally available. Read more in our Help Centre article: Aggregation in data prep
Reconciliation
Manual actions and workflow rules for proposed matches
You can now use manual actions and workflow rules on proposed matches, not just confirmed ones. That means you can now assign a proposed match to a user or group, add labels or comments, and move it to Under Review or Pending statuses, all before it's been accepted or rejected.
Closing a proposed match is still intentionally blocked, so the final accept/reject decision stays a proper match-review step. This allows you to save time before your team can start working a match.
Improved keyboard navigation in cash processes
We've made it easier to move around the cash processes pages using only the keyboard, including navigation, dropdowns, tables and filters. You can now:
- Move between elements using Tab.
- Open the left-hand navigation and dropdown menus (Run process, View, Download, Staging, Settings) using Enter or Spacebar, then move through the options with the arrow keys.
- Navigate tables using Tab or the arrow keys, and select checkboxes with Spacebar.
- Open a column's filter and sort options using Ctrl + Enter, then move through them with the arrow keys.

Platform
We've started modernising our platform UI
We've begun migrating our platform UI to a more polished, more consistent design, built on newer, more scalable and higher-performing technology. This doesn't change any functional behaviour - it's a visual and structural refresh only. Expect better consistency, an improved user experience and a faster platform as more pages move across.
This release includes updates to the global settings, audit log, labels, groups and users admin pages, with more to follow in upcoming releases.
API authentication with your own identity provider
Duco now supports authenticating API calls using tokens issued by your own identity provider, as an alternative to long-lived Duco API keys - meeting the RFC 7523 standard many banks require for machine-to-machine integrations.
If you opt in, Duco checks each request's authorization token against the public keys your provider publishes, so key rotation happens entirely on your side with no manual updates or coordination with Duco. API clients are registered in Duco and permissioned exactly like users, including group membership, entitlements APIs, and full visibility of their actions in the audit log.
This is available for standard API traffic such as submissions and entitlements, as well as SCIM. Nothing changes unless you choose to adopt it - existing API tokens continue to work as they do today.
