Reconciliations
Overview summary page - new widgets added.
If you’re working in the new, streamlined UI you’ll now see an Overview page with a number of widgets that facilitate common daily activities in just a couple of clicks.
- “Labels” summary widget
- “Data used” widget
- “Breaking fields” summary widget
- “Ageing” widget (for legacy workflow only)
We have also enhanced the Record history view that was released last month to display the run’s time stamp, as well as run number and triggering user.
Labels Widget
You will now be able to see the labels that are being used for each record in the results view, as well as how many have been applied. The new UI will also display the labels applied to each run, and enable users to add/remove labels. In addition it will be possible to filter by labels.
Data Used Widget
In order to clearly see the inputs utilised for each reconciliation process (including processes using Data Prep), there is a widget that will summarise both internal and external data sources used, together with the ability for users with the right permissions to download the original source file(s) by clicking through any links provided.
Breaking Fields Widget
This widget will show all the fields causing breaks in a process, together with a count of how many breaks were found for each field.
Ageing Widget
For processes using legacy workflow and with record tracking enabled, this widget will show the correct ageing across all records. By selecting a non-zero value users will be able to navigate to the latest run filtered by the ageing bracket and partial/unmatched inputs.
Run details displayed in Record History view
In addition to the run number and time stamp, UI also displays the triggering user for a more complete picture of run details.
Cash
Maker-Checker for cash manual matching
When a process has enabled the Maker-Checker feature, manual matches can be validated by a ‘checker’ before the transactions are processed as a match.
Use this for:
- Improved accuracy: every match is reviewed and verified by a second individual, significantly reducing errors.
- Enhanced security: an extra level of security to your manual matching process, safeguarding your financial data.
- Streamlined workflow: seamless integration with your existing workflow, minimising disruption.
- Greater confidence: With two sets of users on each manual match exception, you can have greater confidence in the accuracy of your financial records.

Statement deletion performance
We have optimised the performance of the statement deletion process for cash reconciliations, ensuring swift and efficient deletion capabilities. Deleting statements is lightning fast making removing incorrect transactions much easier.
Data Prep
Improved error messaging
Instead of displaying column sequence numbers, error messages will now display column names involved and the specific value that triggered the error. This information empowers you to pinpoint the exact issue, saving you time and effort.
Here’s an example of current error message:
There was an error reading your data, a column did not match the format your provided (column: 5, input field: ‘CAD').
New error message:
There was an error reading your data, a column did not match the format your provided (column: <<name of the field>>, value: <<input value>>).
Updated global settings page
We have now migrated the global settings page to our new, streamlined user interface. Additional areas of the platform will be migrated in the coming months, so stay tuned!
Fixed bugs
Issue Addressed | Description |
Staging copies which were raised without any changes were incorrectly displaying a number of greyed out input changes in MT535 files. | Issues were fixed to correctly show no input changes (where applicable) for staging copies raised without any changes. |
Longer field names in filter rules were not fully visible. | When using filter rules users were unable to see the entire field name in instances where longer field names were applied. A scrollbar has been introduced to enable longer field names to be fully viewed. |
Record history was not showing any information for manually matched reconciliations. | A fix was applied to display the relevant information in the record history view for manual matches as with other records. |
Process configuration as PDF download option was incorrectly enabled for empty processes (i.e. with no runs). | A fix was deployed to have the process configuration download disabled for processes with no runs, and a warning message is now displayed instead. |
Users were unable to edit or remove comments made in a change request for a staging copy, they were presented with an internal error. | This has been fixed so that users can change and/or remove comments on a change request for a staging copy successfully |
Audit history was displaying an incorrect message for matches that have been broken apart. | This has now been fixed to include a more clear message that indicates to the user which match has been broken apart. |
Notifications were not correctly displaying when multiple exports were triggered within a short time span, and exports were incorrectly showing as completed whilst they were still in progress. | Notifications were corrected to only show successful status once the export completed and was available to download. |
Some of the columns were incorrectly hidden in the New UI. | Users were unable to see matching_pass and created_by columns in the New UI. |
Enhancing Numeric Formatting: Adding 1,000 Commas as Separators to the Sum/Difference in UI. | This enhancement improves the user interface by adding thousands separators (commas) to the Sum/Difference display, enhancing readability and usability for numeric data. |
