This April release brings you enhanced dashboards experience, new preconfigured templates, and improvements to exceptions management.
Solutions
Streamline Canada Transaction Reporting with preconfigured templates
We’re launching the Canada Transaction Reporting template, designed to support experts and operations professionals in establishing post-reporting processes. The template simplifies reconciliation between internal systems, reporting channels and trade repositories, ensuring accuracy, transparency and regulatory compliance.
Reconciliation
Enhanced manual operations in cash
This release introduces a powerful new feature in cash reconciliations. You can now manually group unmatched transactions from the same side, allowing them to be treated as a single candidate for matching against the counterpart when ready. This means less noise, less manual effort and more time to handle complex tasks.
The new feature is available as an additional button on the right-hand Actions drawer. All you need to do is:
- Select transactions from one side of the account group and click on the “manually net” button:
- Double-check that the correct transactions are selected, then confirm by clicking “Net”:
The netted transaction will now appear under the “Under review” tab (Note: Netted transactions are automatically labeled as “Netted transaction” in the “Description” field).
You can repeat this process for transactions on the other side of the same account group if needed. Once all transactions are ready, they can be manually matched. If the amounts don’t match exactly, the write-off and corresponding dual transactions will be generated as usual.
Click the “View” link in the “Constituents” column to see all transactions that make up a netted transaction:
Transactions can also be added or removed from a netted transaction using the same actions available for manual matches. If needed, the entire netted transaction can be broken up using the “Break roll-up” button, restoring the original individual transactions.
Netted transactions inherit labels from their constituents when the net is created or modified, but these labels can be removed manually. Labels, comments and actions applied to the original transactions are preserved throughout the netting process.
Copy data from constituents for quicker analysis and improve manual actions across reconciliations
Like in the main result screen, you can now simply double-click any cell in the roll-up constituent screen to copy its content. The copied data can be then pasted into Excel, Notepad, or any external application. This update makes data analysis and user interactions faster and more intuitive than ever.
Governance
Resolve exceptions more efficiently with the Dashboard Creator
Following the introduction of volume dashboards and the new exception management dashboard in preview mode, we are launching the Dashboard Creator. This tool allows you to set up and manage customised dashboards with insights into both generic and cash exception oversight.
The Dashboard Creator simplifies the process of configuring dashboards by enabling you to select specific processes and set permissions to control access. This ensures that relevant teams have the appropriate level of visibility while keeping data secure.
By providing clear, actionable insights with permission-based access, the Dashboard Creator helps teams resolve exceptions more efficiently, and share them with colleagues easily with necessary controls.
For more details on how to set up a dashboard, please refer to the article here.
As part of Dashboard creator update, the previous preview mode dashboards for Volume and Exceptions management will be removed. You can now configure these dashboards to align with specific processes, providing a more tailored and streamlined reporting experience.
Fixed bugs
Issue Addressed | Description |
Data Prep process config may be erroneous after deploying to the target environment. | This happens in edge cases when the process uses a reference data table. After deploying to the target environment, the process contains configuration errors that require manual corrections. |
An "Accepting Failed" message appeared when attempting to accept a change request. | Addressed an issue where accepting two change requests in near-same time would result in incorrect changes applied to the parent Data Prep process. |
Pending results didn’t refresh when the user deleted children submissions. | Fix deployed to automatically refresh pending results buckets in Data Prep when a child submission is deleted. |
The record tracking history widget's link to an old run would break if there were more than 1000 runs. | Addressed an issue where tracking history widget misinterprets run numbers over 1000 due to a thousand separators, causing incorrect navigation. |
Staging copies with active change requests should be settings locked. | Fix deployed so that a staging copy will have its process settings locked and accepts no new changes while it has an active change request. |
Fails to download results for some users | Users with the investigator role only were not able to download results in the spreadsheets from the new UI. |
