This August release delivers a transformational enhancement to boost your exception management, as well as smoother login, improved data copying, and clearer visibility into usage and volume limits.
Reconciliation
Transform exception management with Exception Categorisation
We’re introducing a powerful way to bring structure and clarity to exception handling in Duco. With exception categories, you can now group exceptions with meaningful and well-defined values like region, desk, or root cause—making it easier to prioritise, analyse, and resolve at scale.
Key highlights:
- Define global categories for greater consistency
- Specific per process – use up to 5 relevant categories for each process
- Manually apply one or multiple items together
- Automate it using NRL
- Improved filtering, exports & reporting
This feature is ready to use in all generic reconciliation processes with exceptions workflow enabled.

Improve precision of your investigations with progressive filtering
We’ve enhanced the way date field filters work, so that you can manage exceptions even more effectively. Now you can apply multiple date filters to your reconciliation results, enabling you to narrow down the results of your investigation step by step and isolate exceptions more efficiently.
Removing one of the filters will maintain the rest rather than resetting them all, giving you a more manageable view to work with.
Copy table data with or without headers
Based on your feedback, you can now right-click on selected cells to choose whether to copy/paste data with or without headers—making it easier to work with copied content in external tools like Excel or email.
- The default action is now "Copy without headers"
- A new right-click menu offers two clear options:
- Copy with headers
- Copy without headers
This small but impactful update improves efficiency, especially when sharing or reusing tabular data outside of Duco.
Governance
We’ve made two key enhancements in our dashboard to help you better track and plan your usage.
Contractual volume limit at a glance
The volume widget now shows your contractual volume cap directly in the dashboard.
This addition makes it easier to plan and manage usage across your team and see when and where you may need to increase volumes.
Refined monthly view for active process count
The active process widget now provides a more meaningful view of platform activity. Instead of counting processes based solely on their presence each day, the widget now displays the number of distinct processes that have been executed at least once during the month.
This refined metric offers a more accurate picture of platform activity, helping teams uncover usage patterns, monitor process engagement over time, and make smarter decisions around capacity planning and optimization.
Upcoming changes to login process
We’re pleased to announce upcoming improvements to Duco’s login experience, designed to provide stronger security and a smoother, more intuitive sign-in process. These changes will apply to organisations that do not use SSO (Single Sign-On) authentication and will take place between September and October 2025.
What’s changing:
- Stronger password standards
When updating or resetting a password, users will now be required to create a password with a minimum of 15 characters. This approach follows latest security recommendations, removes overly complex requirements while significantly strengthening account security. - Improved login protection
After multiple unsuccessful login attempts, users will experience a short pause before being able to try again. This again follows the latest industry recommendations, protects accounts without creating unnecessary admin overhead or locking users out.
These enhancements are designed to provide timely and secure access with minimal disruption.
How to prepare:
- Begin using passwords with 15 or more characters now.
These updates reflect Duco’s continued commitment to delivering enterprise-grade security with minimal friction. As always, our team is here to support you throughout the transition.
Please reach out to your Duco Customer Success Manager in case of any questions on the new authentication approach.

Fixed bugs
| Issue Addressed | Description |
| Data Prep showing incorrect configuration status after process import. | In some cases, after using configuration promotion across environments, data Prep process was showing configuration validation errors even though the imported configuration was valid. |
| Pasting a numeric field into a "filter by value'"input is not working as expected, thus causing filters to fail. |
When copying a number from a grid and pasting it into a "Filter by value" input, the formatting could change based on the user’s language settings. This caused filters to return incorrect or no results. The system now copies the raw numeric value from the backend instead of the formatted display value, ensuring accurate filtering regardless of local settings. |
| Inconsistent number formatting due to localization in the new UI. | The new UI applied number formatting based on each user's local settings (e.g., 1.000,50 vs. 1,000.50), causing inconsistencies across users and processes. We've standardized the formatting to match the old UI: dots (.) for decimals and commas (,) for thousands, ensuring consistency for all users. |
| Error when importing labels longer than 31 characters. | Previously, an error message (“One or more labels specified do not exist”) appeared when importing accounts with labels over 31 characters. This has been fixed—labels up to 32 characters are now supported for both creation and import. |
| Page not refreshing when clicking a link to the current view. | In some cases, users expected the page to refresh when clicking a link to the current page—such as the All bucket (to clear filters or sorting), or Latest run (when a newer run had completed). This behaviour has been corrected: clicking these links now refreshes the data as expected. |
| Irrelevant references in manually sent training documents. | Documents manually sent to training sometimes included references to unrelated pages. This has been fixed to ensure all references are accurate and relevant. |
| Incomplete removal of nested annotations when deleting groups. | Deleting annotation groups did not remove all nested annotations. This has been corrected—removing a group now also removes all its nested annotations. |
| Duplicate annotations displayed or generated. | In some cases, the same annotation appeared more than once. This issue has been resolved to prevent duplicate annotations. |
| Tolerance matches with decimal values were not detected. | We fixed a bug where matches were being missed during a matching run if the tolerance amount included a decimal value. The system now correctly identifies and includes these matches as expected. |
