We are providing a tool for you to automatically add comments to exceptions from different sources in this release, helping you to centralise unstructured user notes and comments into Duco. On top of that, we have added a new layer of control for account data in cash reconciliation, to protect your data from accidental changes.
- Workflow rule to add comment to exceptions
- Restrict cash account overwrite and deletion in production
Workflow rule to add comment to exceptions
You can already use workflow rules to add meta-information to exceptions automatically, such as exception owner, age and root cause or categorisation using labels. You can now also use workflow rules to attach user comments to exceptions. Same as other rules, by using Duco Natural Rule Language, the comment can be fixed text, value of a field, a look-up from reference data table, or any combination of them.

Restrict cash account overwrite and deletion in production
In a production environment, you may want to enforce stricter control in account data and the associated statements and transactions in your cash reconciliation process. You can now do that by enabling change control in the process, which in addition to restricting configuration changes as it currently does, it will also disallow deleting accounts and overwriting accounts during import.
