Duco enables a user to attach labels to match results. For example a user can categorise results as "high priority", "low priority", "bad input data", etc. The page Creating labels describes how to define the available labels. This page describes how to use the labels once they are available.
Attaching labels to match results is easy. You can do it in two ways: one match result at a time or in bulk.
Attach a label to a single match result
To attach a label to a match result
- Go to the match result screen
- Click on the match result which you are interested in.
- Attach to the match result one or more labels
This is the result:
Attach label in bulk
It is also possible to attach a label to many match results at once. From the match result screen:
- Select the relevant match results
- Click on Actions → Edit labels
- Attach to the selected match results one or more labels
Removing labels in bulk
You may also want to remove labels in bulk. From the match result screen:
- Select the relevant match results
- Click on Actions → Remove labels
Viewing result by their label
The labels area in the run overview screen shows the labels associated with the match results.
- Click on Overview
- Click on the relevant run results
- Click on the links next to the label to view the match results to which that label is attached. You can also filter by label type.
Attach a label to a run of a process
It is also possible to attach a label to a run of a process. This information can then be used to give you more detail for management reporting (ie. "Test Submission", "Production Submission", "Format Error"). Alternatively, you can also use this feature to indicate if the investigation of breaks have finished for a particular run (ie. "Run Investigated").
To create labels for your runs, simply follow the same steps used when creating labels for exceptions. These are outlined in the Creating labels page.
Labels can be added to a run by clicking on the Labels gadget on the Process Run Results screen.
