This release focuses on giving you a clearer view of your submissions in Data Prep and Data Platform.
Updates include:
- Better monitoring for cash submission status via Data Platform.
- Updated Data Platform documentation to provide clarity on the cash accounts table.
- Tooltip messaging to give you a better understanding of submission status in Data Prep.
Please also note, that for the next release we are redesigning the Account Labels filter for Excel exports in Cash processes. This may affect your reporting macros or automated processes using the results export files. Check the details further in this article.
Data Platform
Easier to monitor cash submission status
We have added a new column with run_id to the cash submission view in the cash database so now you can join cash_submissions with the runs table. As a result, you can easily create a report that will show you when the file finished processing.
Updated documentation
We aim to keep our documentation up to date hence we are constantly reviewing it. As a part of this work we found that url_id was missing from the cash_account table. We corrected this and added a description of what this column does.

Better understanding of submission status
Now you can see more information about what happened to each submission. We have improved the tooltip messages which are shown when you hover your mouse over the submission status.

Advanced notification - seeing account labels in result export
In the next release, you will see the re-designed Account Labels filter for excel exports which was not available earlier. Some of the benefits for this new column include:
- Filtering on account labels is now usable with the custom excel exporter for clients who currently use the filter.
- The Account labels column can now be added on the custom excel export as a new column, if it wasn't already present in your view.
- The Account labels column is now present on the full excel export. The new column will appear as the last column when using full export, with the intention to reduce the impact to your processes.
We are sharing this in advance, in case you need to update any ‘follow on’ reporting macros or adjust automated processes using your current excel extracts.
