The November release enhances the Data Prep user experience and introduces new granularity over governance in the Cash module.
Cash
Advanced controls when performing manual matches to improve matching accuracy
You will now be able to set specific criteria on the match fields within your cash reconciliations that will need to have equal ‘value’ to be able to manually match the break. This will help to support more accurate reconciliations and improve control/ governance over manual matching.
For instance, if you choose the value date to be a control field, then Duco will not allow manual matching of records if one record has a value date ‘10-10-22’ and another one has ‘20-10-22’ in the controlled field.
The fields are configurable per reconciliation process so that each process can have different criteria of controls.
Check out this video to learn how to use the new feature.
Data Prep
Easier to edit and review complex transformation rules
Duco makes complex data transformation and enrichment easy through the use of Natural Rule Language (NRL). But sometimes, long rules can be hard to understand, review, and refine. Now you can turn on Easy Read mode when working with Map & transform rules in Data Prep, which will use indentation to separate out different parts of your rule, and option to show variables in different colours based on what they represent.

Find the snapshot you’re looking for
After the minor enhancement last month to make navigating between snapshots easier by moving columns, we have further improved it with filtering and sorting on snapshot number and date. Whether you’re looking for particular snapshots generated in the past for troubleshooting or investigation, you can now do that much quicker.
UX enhancements
Clearer instruction when adding a submission trigger
When you add a new submission trigger on a process that you’ve already started using, the system will now prompt you to either create a snapshot with any pending data or discard them, so that new submitted data won’t be mixed up with them.

The users were getting an error 'Service unavailable' when accessing the changes page in staging copies of data prep processes. |
Unable to set the correct time in NRL in Data Prep filters |
The system was adding 1 minute to the time defined by the user in the NRL filter rules, making it impossible to set the correct process configuration. |
Duplicated submissions in Data Prep |
The Data Prep was seeing the same files two or more times and was then sending duplicated records to the reconciliation processes. |
The pending exceptions bucket is not accessible in Cash |
The exceptions bucket in Cash was not loading and Duco could show a message that the user was logged out when an older version of the browser was used. |
Delays in updating the Accounts page in Cash |
In some rare scenarios the Accounts page in the Cash module was not being updated on time. |
The 'current view as Excel' export not working properly |
The 'current view as Excel' was exporting the data in the default view, not taking into consideration the layout changes done by the user. |
The 'Pending' bar on the exceptions summary chart does not work in two-sided processes |
In some cases, the 'Pending' bar on the exceptions summary chart in the two-sided processes was not redirecting to the records page with records in 'Pending' status. |
The Current View as Excel export does not work for the duplicated records |
The duplicated records were excluded from the Current View as Excel export if cases when filtered records were not reported. |
Error in the context message of the environment audit log |
When the reference data table was exported, the system showed 'uploaded' instead of 'exported' in the general environment audit log. |
The process configuration change requests got stuck in the 'Preparing' status |
While applying the staging copy settings to the parent process for many processes at once, the requests were getting stuck in 'Preparing' status and were not getting processed. |
Not possible to delete a reference data table |
Users with sufficient level of permissions were unable to delete reference data tables. |
