With this spring release we are improving file ingestion and system governance aspects, refreshing the look of a number of reconciliation settings pages and further improving your experience with the new exceptions management interface.
EMIR EU solution
More insights into your reported data
In the Exception management dashboard that comes with our EMIR EU control solution, we’ve added a new Breaking field gadget in this release. With a glance, you can now see the top 10 fields that contribute to your reconciliation exceptions.
Similar to existing gadgets in the dashboard, you can choose which recon processes, built using our pre-configured solution, you want to include in the chart.
Ingestion
Relax allowed characters limitation in MT940 text strings
Users are now able to ingest all characters in field 61 of MT940 messages. Processes will no longer be throwing submission errors because of schema-invalid characters.
Extract multiple XML messages from a single file
Introduced wrapping functionality to be able to ingest multiple industry standard XML documents embedded in a single file.
Reconciliation
Client-Driven UI Improvements
We're excited to introduce some user-friendly features in this release to enhance your experience with our platform. Here's what's new:
- Tabbed Browsing for Efficient Navigation
Now, you can right-click on search results and open links in a new tab, allowing for seamless navigation without losing your place on the current screen, this can be used in many views including results and process screens.
- Copy-Paste Enhanced
Copying specific text from a cell is now a breeze! Simply right-click on the desired text to copy it, providing you with more control over your data.
- Default Copy with Headers
We've listened to your feedback! Making a copy with headers is now the default behaviour. This ensures a smoother experience, and you can still use double-click to copy specific text from a cell.
- Chrome Tab Naming for Effortless Organisation
Now, when you open a new tab in Chrome, the process name is automatically populated in the tab. This small but impactful improvement allows for better organisation, especially when managing multiple tabs simultaneously.
New look in process settings
Continuing with our upgrade to modern UI technologies, you will find 4 features with new looks in this release.
Change request page
We have refreshed how you review a change request by checking what have been changed from the original parent settings to the staging copies.
Filter rules setting page
Apart from the new look, the NRL rule easy read mode is now also available, making construction and review of long complicated rules more easier.
Reported fields setting page
You can now change the order of a reported field by dragging-and dropping. You can now also select multiple reported fields and un-report them at once.
Calculated result setting page
Easy read mode for NRL rules are now also available in the Calculated results page.
Governance
Integrated configuration deployment
We are launching a new feature that aims to streamline deployment of new process configuration between your environments. This will help you avoid manual configurations needed in production after deployment, such as users, groups, labels, reference data tables and submission routes. Duco will automatically map all those components to existing ones by a set of parameters, or create new ones if it is not yet configured in the target environment. This means there is no need for you to do any manual setup after deploying process configuration!
Moreover, you can fully automate the change management process by leveraging APIs to create and approve packages with processes and their associated components with your own central change management systems.
To further explore this capability, navigate to the Administration page and open the “Configuration deployment’ tab. You can find detailed information around how this feature works in the Help Center article available here.
We will be gradually rolling it out in the course of the next couple weeks, so you might not see this enabled right away after release.
Please also note that the Cash processes are currently not supported via Integrated Configuration Deployment.
