In this September release, we’re delivering several requested features for zip file submissions, faster exception management and improved audit capabilities. We’ve also migrated more pages to the new look and feel.
Ingestion
Make ZIP submissions to Data Prep processes
We're excited to announce that Data Prep now supports ZIP file submissions! Users can upload compressed ZIP archives containing multiple datasets, streamlining the data submission process.
This update simplifies handling large and dispersed datasets and accelerates the processing workflow, ensuring a more efficient experience.
Reconciliation
Finding records by the latest added comment
You can now filter and search by the latest added comment. Search by keyword to quickly and easily find results that have similar comments for faster labelling, assigning or review. More details of how it works can be found here.
This is a request we’ve been seeing frequently from you in our user surveys, so please keep providing us with your ideas.
Streamline reconciliation review process with new sign off and audit features
We are excited to introduce the new "Reconciliation sign off" section on the results overview screen of single and two sided reconciliations. This enhancement brings several key improvements to streamline the reconciliation process and bolster tracking and accountability of actions within runs. We have also created a best practice document in our help centre to support adopting this within your daily processes.
- Reconciliation sign off section: A new section has been added to the overview screen, allowing users to mark a reconciliation as "Run ready to be reviewed" and “Run reviewed”.
- Audit trail: Each sign off action is time stamped and recorded in the audit log and run history, ensuring a comprehensive history of who reviewed and signed off on each reconciliation run.
- Error Correction: Users can now toggle the "Rec reviewed" status multiple times if needed, providing flexibility to correct any errors.
New look of match fields pages
We’re continuing to modernise the Duco platform and in this release you’ll get a new look of the match fields screen for all types of reconciliation processes with additional improvements, such as:
- Clearer navigation between tabs
- Smoother creation of match fields
- Quick filters to “show all fields” or “only matched fields” and “hide inputs”
New look of Cash accounts settings
You will also see a new cash accounts settings page along with some usability improvements, such as easier filtering of cash accounts in settings page.
Fixed bugs
Issue Addressed | Description |
Data input stuck in "Uploading" status in Data Prep. | In some rare cases when adding a new input to a Data Prep process, the status of the input was stuck in "Uploading". |
User is unable to delete a Data Prep submission where document status is failed. | Fixed an issue whereby the user was unable to delete a Data Prep submission of an unstructured document that has failed to process. |
Improved display of longer field names in the settings pages. | Improvements were made to the long field names in the recently migrated settings pages that were not displaying correctly. |
Resetting filtering conditions to “Contains” when adding a word to search. | We have resolved the filtering issues experienced when using the "Does not contain" filter as it unexpectedly switched to “Contains” after adding a search term. The filter now correctly retains the “Does not contain” selection when a search term is added. |
Two statements were incorrectly created in Cash when the sequence number was empty. | Resolved an issue where submitting fixed format files with an empty sequence number field resulted in two separate statements — one with transactions only and one with balances only. Now, a single statement including both balances and transactions is generated. |
Changed buttons location for "Net", "Match" and "Split" after clicking actions in Cash. | There is no change to the actions available to you. However, when you click on the "Match" or "Split" action and the matching panel opens, we have moved the follow-on actions to the left side of the screen in the manual match view to improve efficiency. |
Statement order updates without refreshing following actions in Cash. | Fixed an issue where statement order changes were not immediately reflected in the table, eliminating the need to refresh the page to see the updated order. |
